Frontline Tactics
★★★★☆ 4.4
Frontline Tactics drops you onto hex maps and asks you to think two or three turns ahead. Units have clear strengths, terrain matters, and the campaign slowly layers in new mechanics instead of dumping them all at once. It's dense but never confusing.
What sold me was the AI. It flanks, it bait-and-switches, and it will absolutely punish a greedy push. I lost a few missions and genuinely wanted to replay them, which doesn't happen often on mobile.
It runs offline without a hitch and the save system is solid. Perfect for anyone who likes chewing on a puzzle disguised as a battlefield.
What we liked
- Smart AI that outmaneuvers careless players
- Clean hex-grid design, easy to read on a small screen
- Full campaign playable offline
